TPN was recently awarded a contract by one of the largest breweries in the world. In the past, TPN supplied generator sets for this brewery located in the south-east of Nigeria. TPN is once again designing, building and installing a diesel generator set to optimise and expand the same power plant.
The customer’s total power supply currently consists of four generator sets (2 x C32 and 2 x 3512B) installed within the power plant and one diesel generator set (C32) installed in a container outside the building. One of the C32 sets in the power plant is defective and consequently is a total economic loss. The defective set has since been removed and the C32 generator set installed in the container outside the building has been installed in its place. The outside container has been removed creating space to expand the power plant to install the third 3521B generator set. The customer is looking after this expansion and once the building is ready, TPN will supply the new diesel generator set (3512B) with a dry cooler and controls. TPN is expected to deliver at the beginning of 2016. This way, TPN will optimise the customer’s power supply.
The ongoing service contract for the previous delivery will be expanded to include the new set.
