Topec Nigeria (TPN) has concluded a three-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contract for a brewery in Kaduna, northern Nigeria. This O&M contract is the sixth location belonging to one of the major breweries in Nigeria with which TPN does business. Anton Heinsius, Account Manager Service at TPN: “The brewery’s experience with our way of working and servicing the other five locations certainly contributed to us concluding a full-service O&M contract.” Besides the Caterpillar systems, TPN will also be servicing the Cummins engines. “By taking care of the maintenance and operation of the generator sets, we secure the energy supply in Kaduna for them.”
The contract applies to two sites in Kaduna: Kudenda and Kakuri. In Kudenda, TPN is responsible for the maintenance of three Cummins QSK60 generator sets and on Caterpillar 3516B Generator set. In Kakuri, it concerns a stand-by Caterpillar 3516B-HD. By signing the Kaduna contract, TPN is expanding its activities in servicing Cummins installations.
